Rocky outcrops / forested hill slopes Insectivore; feeds on beetles, ants, and small invertebrates. Nests in rock crevices or ledges. Often perches on exposed rocks; migrant in parts of India.

Cliffs / rocky gorges / hill slopes Feeds on insects and small fruits. Nests in cavities among rocks or walls. Solitary bird; often sits upright on boulders or ruins.
